SilverAssist

Repeat Infringement Policy

SilverAssist expects those who provide or upload content through its applicable websites and online services to respect the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), SilverAssist maintains and reasonably implements a policy providing for the termination, in appropriate circumstances, of users or account holders who repeatedly infringe copyrights.

Repeat Infringement

Copyright infringement requests and related outcomes may be reviewed to identify repeat infringement by the same user, account, community, partner, or other content provider.
A single copyright complaint does not automatically make someone a repeat infringer. Depending on the circumstances, action may include:
  • a warning;
  • removal or disabling of content;
  • restriction of upload or publishing privileges;
  • suspension of an account or access; or
  • termination of an account, access, or relationship in appropriate circumstances.
Repeated, intentional, or significant copyright infringement may result in additional action, including termination where appropriate.

Counter-Notices

Valid counter-notices and other relevant information may be considered when evaluating repeat infringement.
